Hot water makes me happy. I didn't have so much of it in my apartment for a while and I was getting quite irritated. I mean - it's winter, it's cold out - now is the time for hot showers!
I got so frustrated I even talked with my landlord about it and he blew me off - old house, cold pipes, live in an upstairs apartment, the settings are almost as high as they can be, blah blah blah.
But I took my boyfriend's suggestion and checked out the hot water heater myself. Turns out the landlord had it set on the lowest of the three settings! I turned it up.
I am happy to say my showers are now warm and cozy and leave my skin nice and pink. I'm so glad I turned up the heat, listened to my boyfriend and stopped whining and took some action.
