I've always thought that life situations look much worse when you're looking at them from ahead and from in front, preparing for them, than when you're actually in them and dealing with them.

I was dreading this week; I worked a lot of doubles and generally thought it would suck.

It hasn't been so bad, really, and I whined and stressed and worried about nothing I couldn't handle.

To quote one of my favorite singers, Tom Petty, "Most of the things we worry about never happen anyway."
