How is my time any less important than your time?

How are my life choices any less important than your life choices?

See, I've forgotten this, I've forgotten that my time and my choices are just as important as others' time and choices. I've forgotten this because I haven't had people, or myself, remind me that who I am and what I want in my life is important. I've allowed myself to fade to nothingness.

I've lost my self-respect and my self-importance by no longer being important to me. I've compromised my life further than I've wanted because I felt I was no longer important in the equation.

I've got to get back to this; I've got to get back to me.
