Where is beauty?

I haven't written in a while because I'm having a hard time and mostly am feeling really insecure about nearly every aspect of my life. It's possible I've never been secure and figured this life decision would give me an identity boost. To be honest, it has in certain ways, but I still feel voiceless, unopinionated and lost. Doesn't make for a such a secure and strong woman!
A quote I've been wanting to share about beauty, taken from InStyle magazine, by Ann Curry:
"I can see my life on my face - the suffering in my brow, the joy in the tiny crow's feet, the confidence in my eyes. Time, it seems, gives us all a chance to really be beautiful."
I believe in this quote and the outlook that underlies it. Our experiences and our strengths are what brings out our beauty. It's so easy to get swept up in the superficiality of weight and clothes and haircuts and jewelry; it seems there are many forms of beauty and that people get to define it for themselves. Find yours and bring it to life; I'll try to do the same.
