My day off.

Today is day 30 of the countdown until my last day of school. I called off for everything for today - my class, an appointment and another extracurricular class; I had visions of getting caught up but alas today has become a "Saturday." Apparently I can't work more than 9 consecutive full days without wanting to quit (or at least stop for a while)! Part of life is learning/knowing about yourself; now I'm more aware that I need to rest occasionally, perhaps on the weekends. (Who am I kidding? I've always known this, I've just tried to live as if it wasn't true!)
So far I've done the dishes, read some, enjoyed my husband and soon I plan on cooking dinner. Overall, it's been a nice day. For these final 6 weeks I'm throwing my highly structured attempts at control out the window and although it's leaving me less anxious (that's surprising, isn't it?), it's also left me... well, there are no more unused words left to describe my current state. I guess just fill in the blank!
